Workplace mental health has become increasingly important to Albertans, and employers are interested in creating healthy workplace environments. That’s why the Alberta Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) hosts Working Stronger – Alberta’s workplace mental health conference.
We are dedicated to bringing the Working Stronger Conference to employers and employees across the province in the safest, most rewarding way possible. Because of COVID-19, Working Stronger has been postponed from October 26-27, 2020, to March 8-9, 2021. We hope by postponing the conference, we’ll be able to foster stronger connections, integrate more rewarding workplace strategies and allow for more organizations to participate in this industry-leading event.
The Working Stronger Conference brings together creative and inspiring mental health thinkers and leaders for two days of networking, information exchange and dialogue that will help employers advance efforts for healthier workplaces across the province. Working Stronger 2020 will feature three streams focusing on:
- mental illness and addictions;
- skill building and social supports; and
- mental health promotion and wellness
As we move forward and adjust during this period, watch for more details on registration, exciting guest speakers and engaging workshops.
