Feb 21, 2025
Medicine Hat Family Service and CMHA Alberta and Centre for Suicide Prevention are partnering to open Recovery College in Medicine Hat. Recovery College offers free mental health and recovery-focused courses for individuals, families, the workplace, and cultural and spiritual communities. This program is being funded by the Government of Alberta Ministry of Mental Health and Addiction.
All Recovery College courses are co-developed and co-facilitated with the community and peers (individuals with lived experience who are role models to their peers and embody hope and recovery).
Courses will be offered beginning in early March; check out www.recoverycollegemedicinehat.ca to register and learn more.
Recovery College courses are also offered in Lethbridge, Edmonton, Red Deer, Camrose, Grande Prairie, and Fort McMurray.
