Help CMHA support Bell Let’s Talk Day!
Canadians from coast to coast will join the conversation again this year to help break down the stigma associated with mental illness.
Bell’s annual Bell Let’s Talk Day campaign encourages people to start the conversation about mental health with friends, family and co-workers, recognizing that simply talking has a significant impact on reducing stigma.
In 2015, Bell contributed just over $6M to Canadian mental health programs through Bell Let’s Talk Day and they hope to break that record this year.
Here’s how you can help: Bell will donate 5¢ more to mental health initiatives for every:
- Text message sent by Bell and Bell Aliant customers
- Mobile and long distance call made by Bell and Bell Aliant customers
- Tweet using #BellLetsTalk
- Facebook share of the Bell Let’s Talk Day image
There are other ways to help: Visit the Bell Let’s Talk Day website for five simple ways to help end the stigma around mental illness.
Joining the campaign again this year are spokespeople Clara Hughes, Michael Landsberg, Mary Walsh, Howie Mandel, Stefie Shock and new this year is Michel Mpambara, singer/songwriter Serena Ryder, retired CFL player Étienne Boulay and entertainer Marie-Soleil Dion
