2SLGBTQI+ Resources and Information
When we support the 2SLGBTQI+ community, we make Alberta a safer, healthier place to live.
Seventy-four per cent of Canadians know someone who is 2SLGBTQI+, and 40 per cent of the 2SLGBTQI+ community have experienced discrimination. People who are 2SLGBTQI+ are more likely to experience declining mental health because of the pandemic. CMHA believes that having healthy and supportive places to live, work, play and learn can protect the mental health of those in the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
